Day 1: Saigon – Dong Thap province – Tram Chim National Park – Can Tho (L)

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we will depart from Saigon and transfer you to Tram Chim National Park.
Begin your visit with an exploration of the exhibition showcasing a variety of rare bird species. Accompanied by a knowledgeable tour guide, you will experience a Tac Rang ride — a traditional mode of transport in the Southwestern provinces, especially during the flood season — as you navigate the park's serene waterways.

At Tram Chim, you will have the unique opportunity to witness 198 bird species, including 16 rare ones, such as red-headed cranes, black eagles, and black-faced spoonbills. To maximize your experience, it is recommended to visit in the early morning or late afternoon, as these are the times when the birds are most active. For lunch, enjoy authentic local dishes served on a boat while soaking in the lush scenery and the harmonious sounds of birdsong echoing from every corner of the park. In the evening, check in at your homestay in Can Tho and enjoy a delicious dinner, immersing yourself in the warm hospitality of the region.

Day 2: Can Tho Signature – Cai Rang Floating Market – Saigon (B, L)

This morning, wake up early and enjoy breakfast (included) in the ambience of the countryside, we will venture out to enjoy a guided tour to all the best places in the area via a unique route with refreshing, romantic small canals! Along the tour, enjoy the peaceful moment floating and get to hear about the local history, culture, habits and their daily lives.
From the homestay, our boat will pick you up and our first stop will be Phong Dien Floating Market, a small and beautiful cozy traditional market where you will get memories of the local people in their daily lives, waking up early and preparing for the hustling morning ahead at the market. Here, we can make stop to enjoy delicious local food for the most authentic breakfast possible with “Banh Mi”, “com tam”, “pho”, “hu tieu”, “bun rieu”, depending on availability.

Afterwards, we will also go to Cai Rang Floating Market, the famous floating market that has since become a must-visit destination for all people coming to the area. Different than the smaller floating markets around, here you will find hundreds of big boats doing wholesale and trade, selling the products from the small local factories, farms and orchards. Specifically, Mekong Delta is known for its fruit farms, all the fruits selling at the markets are fresh and of the best quality.
Get your hands on some such as durian, coconuts, jackfruit, rambutan and many more... We will also pay a quick visit to the local noodle factory to see how locals make rice noodle in the traditional method, then a fruit garden nearby where you will find various different fruit plants and get to taste the fresh fruits.
Back to the homestay where we will enjoy lunch then our personal driver and guide will escort you back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Your Ho Chi Minh city tour ends.
