Full Itinerary
Morning
Saigon Local Tour’s tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel. We visit the Reunification Palace which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s – Apr 1975s). You will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meters beneath the earth’s level. This address today still holds many important functions in HCMC.
Then, visit the War Remnants Museum (This museum tells the story of the war from the Vietnamese perspective. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war). We have a short walk to discover Paris in Saigon with 2 famous architectures: Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office which was built by the French in the 18th century. Have lunch at the restaurant and relax.
Afternoon
Moving to China Town. We visit the Thien Hau Temple (One of the most important Chinese pagodas in the city). You will admire the unique architecture of China and hear the story of The Lady of the Sea.
Chinatown (Settled in the late 18th century, this labyrinthine section of Ho Chi Minh City bustles with restaurants, temples, exotic stores, and markets) and Binh Tay market (This is the main marketplace in China Town, where a great deal of wholesale trading occurs. Experience the commotion of this integral part of the city’s daily business).
Evening
17:30 We will board the Saigon River Cruise, check-in, have dinner while enjoying the night view along the Saigon River, and savor traditional music on board.
19:30 The cruise comes back to the pier. We will be escorted safely back to the hotel for overnight accommodation. Service ends. Your Ho Chi Minh City tour ends.
